Avant de commander

Before you order.

Do you serve lunch or brunch?

No. Dinner is the format and we lean into it: Tuesday through Sunday from five, and Sunday from four.

Is there a happy hour?

Yes. Six bar plates at $15 and $18, wines by the glass at $8 and $9, and beer at $5, plus a different spirit each week. You can order it anywhere in the restaurant, not only at the bar. Call (516) 730-8088 for the current times.

Is there a vegetarian option?

Yes. The salades, soupes, légumes et grains and pommes de terre sections all read well as a meal, and the kitchen is happy to build something for you. Tell us when you book.

How big is the wine list?

Around two hundred bottles, French-led: Champagne, Burgundy, Bordeaux, the Loire, the Rhône and Alsace, with a few from elsewhere when they earn it. There is a shorter by-the-glass list too.

Can I bring my own wine?

Yes. You are welcome to bring a bottle of your own, and corkage is $75 per bottle. If it is something you have been keeping for an occasion, tell us when you book and we will have the right glasses ready.

Can you accommodate an allergy?

Usually. Much of the kitchen is made to order. Tell us at booking and remind your server when you sit, and we will tell you honestly what we can and cannot do.

Do I need a reservation?

Recommended, especially Friday and Saturday. Book online or call (516) 730-8088. There are a few seats at the marble bar for walk-ins.
